About Science Team Sale Items

Science Team sells a few science class oriented items not only to support the teaching mission of the Science Department, but also to raise money for materials to construct projects for competitions, and for transportation to competitions. In addition to the items shown on this page, the Science Team also sells energy efficient light bulbs as a fund raising project, and to promote a greener environment for all. Please support the Newton South Science Team!

Safety Eyewear by Uvex

Ultraspec® 2001 OTG — $10.00    

Here is the official statement!

• Designed to fit easily over prescription glasses, the Ultraspec® 2001 is an affordable alternative to prescription safety eyewear. Optically correct, the polycarbonate lens and temple offers excellent viewing. Meets ANSI Z87.1 and CSAZ94.3 standards.

The Science Team adds:

• These safety glasses are far more comfortable than the used safety goggles in the school.
• You will own your own pair, instead of wearing the same goggles that (many) student's before you have worn.

• We sell them for only $10— they are commonly sold in supply stores for more.

You can purchase your these items during lunch block for the first few weeks of school. After that, items for sale will be available Thursday J-block where the Science Team meets (room 3114). Please bring cash or a check made to NSHS Science Team.
