Chemistry 2 Unit Outline by TermEach term contains six units. Print off a copy of the unit assignments from the unit list for the current term. Complete the unit obligations and have each assignment approved. Request a unit test, when you feel confident that you have reasonable mastery of the content for a unit. Passing score is for a unit assessment (test) is 70%. Your grade for each term depends on how many units you pass, plus how many mini-projects you complete. See the term grade scale, below.
Your Term GradesYour earned letter grade for each term will be issued according to the nuber of points earned in the term. One point is earned for each unit or project finished with a 70% or better result. Each student must complete all core units to receive a grade of C or better. Partial points may be awarded at the end of the term for partially completed units or projects. The following table shows the grade earned based on the points earned in the term:
